Offering you expertise through personalized financial advisory services.
I am passionate about using my 20+ year experience in investment management and financial planning to help my clients navigate through life’s transitions. I have a deep desire to make a difference in my client’s lives and I am available at every point to help them make optimal decisions. I put in the effort to educate our clients because I want them to understand what we are doing for them and work with them in a collaborative manner. Having grown up and lived in several countries in the East and the West, I bring the best of both worlds in my relationships with my clients.
Prior to founding Sarsi, LLC in 2010, I helped families preserve, protect, and grow their wealth and well-being at Executive Monetary Management, a multi-family office at Neuberger Berman. Previously, I worked for several years in investments and risk management at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Chesapeake Capital Corporation and Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Earlier in my career I worked in international project finance for a shipping company in various countries and at a Steel Plant in operations.
I have a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, India, a Master in International Management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, India, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, AZ. I have been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst ® and the Certified Financial Planner ™ designations. I am admitted to practice before the IRS.
Apart from being a financial advisor, I teach a course that builds a sound foundation in personal finance to help students succeed and lead a rich life while at school and beyond, at Montclair State University. I was a member of the National Board of Directors of NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (2021-2024), where I was the Treasurer/Secretary. Currently, I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the NAPFA Foundation.
I keep fit by running and practicing Iyengar yoga. I enjoy playing golf, traveling to places of historical importance, reading biographies and good food.
